Levan Koguashvili, Director Producer
Georgian-born Koguashvilli studied at the State Institute of Film and Theatre in Tbilisi, and then worked as a journalist for independent television after civil war broke out in Georgia. He went on to study Film Directing at the Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow, and is an alumnus of the NYU Graduate Film School. BRIGHTON FOURTH won best international narrative feature, best screenplay and best actor at the Tribeca IFF. THE DEBT (shot by Mikhanovsky), premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, STREET DAYS won the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival, GOGITA'S NEW LIFE premiered at the 2017 IDFF in Amsterdam, WOMEN FROM GEORGIA was selected for the Panorama section of the Sarajevo Film Festival, and BLIND DATES was screened at the Toronto Film Festival, among many others.
